Green beans with pine nuts

Ingredients:

  • 770 g green beans

  • 3 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley

  • 4 teaspoons minced garlic

  • 3 tablespoons pine nuts

  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil

How to prepare

  1. Finely chop parsley. Mince garlic cloves. Trim green beans.

  2. Cook green beans by steaming on stovetop.

  3. Toast pine nuts in pan until slightly golden.

  4. Place olive oil in a pan with the garlic and fry for a minute.

  5. Drain the beans once they are al dente and add to the pan along with pine nuts and parley.

  6. Toss around until all the beans are coated.

  7. Serve with a drizzle of lemon juice.
