My approach is based on the following core concepts:

Primary Food: Achieving optimal health is more than the food on your plate. It's how you nourish yourself through relationships, spirituality, career and environment. Everything is connected. I’ll help you find balance in order to achieve a healthy mind, body and spirit.

Bio-Individuality: There’s no one-size-fits-all approach. Everyone is different. That’s why there are many diets and dietary theories. As your health and wellness strategist and coach, I’ll work with you to find out what works best. The goal being a healthy eating lifestyle, and not necessarily a diet.  

Individual-Based, Not Theory: We get inundated with nutrition information on a daily basis. So, when a specific diet doesn’t work for someone, it can bring a sense of failure. Yet there’s no one right diet for everyone. I’ll encourage you to explore what works best for your body. 

It’s How You Eat: I want you to enjoy what you eat. That’s why we’ll work together on mindful eating and how to incorporate the pleasure principle. 

Aim for an 80/20 Lifestyle: This is about progress, not perfection.

Eat Real Food: I’m talking whole food, not processed and packaged food, more vegetables, good quality protein, more water, more sleep, less alcohol and coffee. These particular diet and lifestyle changes can and do work.

Given Half the Chance, the Body will Heal Itself: We are a society that wants a pill for every ill. I’ll guide you on how to slow down and allow yourself the rest you need so that your body has the opportunity to heal on a deeper level.

Deconstruct Cravings: The body doesn’t make mistakes – it’s a super biocomputer! Just like your lungs never forget to breathe, your body knows what it’s doing. I’ll show you how to listen to your cravings and find healthy ways to satisfy them.

Crowding Out: This is magic. It’s about focusing on what delicious things you can eat, drink or do and using this to crowd out what may be doing you harm. And it is 100% glorious.
